As a girl, you have one great fear: PIMPLES!
Did you wake up one day and you were hesitant to look in the mirror because you're scared to see more and more "pimples" on your face? I do.
When I was a kid, pimples are not my problem. I actually have a perfect skin. When I was in high school I still had a baby face but when I went to college, these pimples started to pop-up like they're having sex because they keep on multiplying! I tried using different cleanser but none of them worked perfectly for me, what I am using right now is St. Ives Apricot Scrub Acne (Will make a review about this next time). I am not really sure if it lessen the pimples but I like it because it doesn't dry my skin, but I am still looking for an alternate cleanser because I researched on the internet that the scrub isn't good to use for everyday because the beads are abrasive.
One day my dad noticed my face, he said it looks really rough and has a lot of small pimples! I got really depressed, and then he gave me the extract of Kamias leaves (Bilimbi Tree) he told me that it is helpful to prevent pimples. Well, my dad is one of those Filipino old high school and some how I believe him. So I did a research about the health benefits of Kamias and these are the things that I found:

How to make an extraction: My dad makes it for me he grind the leaves to get the juice from it.
How to use it: Wash your face with your cleanser first before you put the juice or extract on your face then leave it overnight. My dad told me to use it twice a day, when I wake up and before going to sleep. But if you're not going to stay at home I suggest to use it before you sleep. ;)
If my research is not enough to convince you, you could actually find a lot of things about Kamias on the internet and I suggest that you should ask your family doctor before you use it, because I don't want anyone to blame me if something happens lol. And I will update you guys, if its really effective or not ;)
Okay, I am guilty. I actually admit that it is somehow my fault, why I have these pimples. I usually stay up really late to finish my school works before or just because I am not used to go to bed so early. So before I end this blog here's my OWN Do's and Don'ts to prevent acne.
-Wash your face Daily
- As much as possible don't let your hair be all over on your face, especially if your hair is oily it might irritate your face and this can cause acne
- Don't share your tools and things with an acne-ridden friends/siblings it might spread the bacteria to your face (towels, make up brush, etc)
- Don't touch your face if you're hands are dirty.
- Use clean handkerchiefs
- Sleep early. (I will try to work on this, lol)
- Drink a lot of water
- Eat Healthy (less junk food, foods that are greasy and salty, etc)
I hope this something-something will also help you guys. I hope these pimples will stop having babies! lol
Keep on smiling,xx
