Virgin Coconut Oil: Touched for the very first time! (Toner, Moisturizer, Hair Conditioner, Make Up Remover)

Hi you guys! This has been on my drafts for a very long time, but anyway If you're following me on twitter you already know that I have been dying to make a review about Virgin Coconut oil! So let's start shall we?

I am really desperate to remove these disgusting skin and hair problems, so I did a research again after my dad told me about Virgin Coconut Oil. Just so you know, every time I put beauty review or beauty post here on my blog I always do a research first and try it on my own so I can suggest it to you guys.

Benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil for Hair
*For people who wanted to make their hair grow longer and thicker, it helps to keep the hair moisturized and their hair strand strong preventing hair from breakage and allow it to grow shinier and thicker without looking damaged.
*It can also be used as a very effective hair conditioner treatment to be damage- free.
* Help stimulate proper circulation and keep the scalp moisturized when perfroming scalp massage. It can also help hair get rid from dandruff.
*A recent study shown that with the regular use of virgin coconut oil, it will keep the scalp free from lice and lice eggs.

Benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil for Skin
* VCO can be used as a massage oil on skin for the relief of stress.
* Coconut oil can indeed help protect the skin from aging because it is a steady saturated fat that can't be broken down by free radicals.
* Also prevents stretch mark, coconut oil is commonly used to prevent stretch marks especially during pregnancy.
* VCO can also be used as your skin moisturiz as it is the key to keeping it youthful and healthy. It also helps fight bacteria and other skin problems such as rashes, acne, wrinkles, eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis.

(resource: http://jujanester.hubpages.com/hub/virgincoconutoil)

-Virgin Coconut oil is naturally high in lauric acid which is well known to have a positive effect for the health and for being very anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-viral. If applied directly to the skin, it will help to prevent bacterial infections (ACNE) and may control itching from dandruff.

- Coconut Oil is also well know as a "cooling oil" which is great for inflamed skin. Well my face is not inflamed or hot but it would definitely help me since our country is a tropical country so using this to help my skin cool down is a good thing.

- It is generally considered as safe because it doesn't have any side effect.

- You can use it in a lot of ways! (Moisturizer, Toner, Hair Conditioner and Make up Remover!)

How to use it on Face:
*Rinse your face with lukewarm water or tepid water to open your pores, because you would want the vitamins to get into your pores and push out the toxins or dirt!
*Have a small cotton (or you can use your fingertips if you want to) and put a small amount of Virgin coconut oil and and gently massage it on your face in circular motion. You can leave it for just 5-10 minutes but I leave it on overnight, your choice.
*I also use this to remove my make up and it's really helpful! <3

How to use it on Hair:
*Have a small amount of VCO on your palm, rub it and massage it on your scalp. When your scalp is covered with VCO already, leave it on overnight and wash it the next day.

OVERALL: I love this at home remedy because after 1 week of continuously using this product my skin is still somehow not free from rashes, bumps, acne etc but you can see results already and my face has always been soft and smooth, while my scalp stops itching and flaking too! Maybe after another week my pimples will be completely gone!

Have you ever tried using virgin coconut oil? Comment down below!

You have to laugh, love & live every day as if it's your last.

Now that im older i'm more aware of things that make me feel complete as a person. I'm trying to concentrate on those things as opposed to things that make feel empty” ― Mary-Kate Olsen

MARY KATE AND ASHLEY OLSEN'S INSPIRED MAKEUP:

I really love Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's fashion style and their popular roundly makeup with simple lips. Since my Aunt gave me a wonderful gift last Christmas (77 ULTA COLLECTION: Will make a review about this very soon!) I decided to try it and make my own rendition of their signature look. I am in love with this look because it's easy, simple and you can wear it day and night! So here are the products I used! I hope you guys will like my own adaptation of their awesome look ;) Cheers!

First Summer Look: Smoldering Eyes

Hi you guys, It's already Summer here in the Philippines and I have to admit that it's really getting hotter and hotter everyday but the heat won't stop me from wearing any make up this season! I know summer is a time to wear your bikinis and it's all about getting wet and wearing make up is not a good idea because it will only melt off from heat but wearing make up would also help you to protect your skin under the sun!

So here I am with my First Summer look for 2013 which I called as Smoldering Eyes. Actually this is somehow an every day look because it's just simple, I probably like this look for summer because it is not a heavy make up at all but still gives you a glowing look.

PRODUCTS USED:
Models Prefer Grater Bronzer
Models Prefer Concealers
Maybeline Eyeshadows (Brown, Black Gold-ish)
Ulta Super Shiny Lip Gloss

FACE UPDATE: Kamias (Bilimbi Leaves Extract)

Hey you guys! Just got home from our small family business and I am really tired but still in the mood to make a blog post for you guys! And today's post is to update you with my dilemma of having acne. Well, if you read my post before, you would know that I have been suffering from pimples these past few days so I took my dad's advice. Check THIS POST if you don't know what I am talking about. I have been doing this method for almost 1 month, the first 3 days of using it continuously (thrice a week) I immediately see the  result and it was perfectly fine, but I did something stupid and I think it's one of the cause why my pimples got worst! I used "soap" on my face! Because I was out of face cleanser and I just read an article about it that it makes your face more irritated and really dry which can cause acne. I know, so stupid of me.

But just to give you an update guys, I stopped using this method not because it is not helpful, but because it is not just convenient for me to use it everyday. My dad is busy with our small business and I don't have someone to make it for me lol. So I decided to use it thrice a month just to refresh my face.

"Kamias (Bilimbi Leaves Extract) PROS AND CONS"

PROS:
- FAST RESULT! You will definitely see the results after 3 days! Well for me, but I am not sure if it's going to be the same for everyone!
- Kamias fruit contains a small amount of vitamins and minerals.
Considered antibacterial, astringent, antiscorbutic, febrifuge, antidiabetic, stomachic, refrigerant.
The high acid content of the juice is good for removing stains from the skin, white cloth, and also tarnishes from brass

CONS:
- You need to have spare time to use this because you need to get the extract of the leaves.
- You can only use this at night because of its smell and it's color
- You will feel dryness in your skin after applying
- Only few trees are available here in our country

I took this photo after 1 month of using Kamias Leaves Extract but my face is better now!
Will post a new photo on my next post! (The white thing is just a cream to lessen the redness of my pimples!)
OVERALL: It is indeed a great home remedy for pimples. You can find a lot of good reviews about this fruit but it may interact with any medications you are taking or other conditions you have. So I suggest CONSULT A DOCTOR or HEALTH PROVIDER before you eat, drink or attempt any at-home remedies.

I will update you guys to the new product that I am using right now! Stay tuned!

So, my question for today: Have you guys ever tried using any extract leaves or any home remedies to cure your pimples? If yes! Comment down below, I want to know! It might help me too! And could you guys give me the best cleanser and moisturizer for you? :)

Keep on smiling,xx

Less is more. (08/16/2012)

“I want to be a guy, but I want to wear a lot of makeup.” - Gwen Stefani

I wasn't supposed to put any make up on because I was just wearing a simple lazy outfit which is my sweatshirt and jeans. Because it was raining the day before this day so rain again made me too lazy to fix everything. But then when I tried to put on my foundation my hand started to have it's own mind. LOL. Though my make up goes well with my outfit, because it's just a simple shimmer makeup. Anyway, I dont have anything left to say so here it goes. I hope you guys like this! :)

"WHO: YOU'RE FAT". I just smiled when I saw this on my tagboard. Hello there who/anon, yes I am fat! You don't have to say that because I am not blind, and before I started posting my pictures here on my site I've already mentioned that haha. ;) And If you're just trying to piss me off well you tried the wrong person. You can turn off the sun, but I'm still gonna shine. (08/14/2012)

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.John Ruskin

Gazing at the vastness of the sky

Announcements:

I CHANGED MY LAYOUT, And made it more simpler! =)) Anyway, as you guys know, these past few days I've been getting addicted to make ups. So I decided to have a new label entitled MAKE UP OF THE DAY / MU-OTD, Aside from that this time I will make sure that I am going to post my OUTFIT OF THE DAY / OOTD every once in awhile. Even though I am not a professional stylist or make up artist I am dedicated to show my taste in fashion so please don't judge me :) Other than that I will also post my covers here on youtube / soundcloud. About my affiliates, I will be making a label also for you guys but my special Affiliates will be posted in the right side of my home page. :)

Yesterday, August 18 2012 I decided to have a simple make up since my outfit is just a simple black pedal pants and a grey blouse. (I don't have a picture of my outfit sorry!) I call this make up style as "Stargazer" because the name of the pencil eyeliner that I used is stargazer haha! I already told you guys before that I don't know how to put a liquid eyeliner on my eyes, so I watched a lot of tutorials on Youtube and tried to do it by myself, it looks so easy when they're doing it, but when it's my turn to do it, IT'S SO FREAKING HARD!. I used a pencil eyeliner first and then I coated it with liquid eyeliner, the outcome is not perfect but my wave mates liked it so I think I did a pretty good job doing this at the first time! So take a look at my first eyeliner make up! :)

(What I used: Magical sweet blush, Pencil eye liner: EverBilena's Stargazer, Terracotta lipstick, Nichido Liquid Eyeliner and a black Mascara)

Today is my day off until tomorrow, because tomorrow is a Non-working holiday in Philippines until 21 but we will go back to our training on Tuesday already even if its still a holiday but it's okay coz that day will be a double pay because it's a holiday! HAHA. Anyway my boyfriend will go here tomorrow! Yes :"> Finally after 2 weeks I will see him again. I miss him so much! Anyway I hope you guys like my second post for my MU-OTD! Share with me your experience of putting on make up for the first time! Did you also have a hard time?

Have a great day! Keep on smiling!

Tremendous freedom!

The makeup is simply an extension of the personality and colors, clothing, makeup all express something.” -Gene Simmons

August 13Th 2012, I started to put make up on myself, before I just know how to put lipstick and a little bit of mascara and blush on, I always envy girls who know how to experiment with make ups, so I watched videos on Youtube, it looks so easy but when it's my turn to do it, it's freaking haaaard. But anyway I gave my best shot on my first make up, I wasn't able to take pictures with my other ones but I do hope that I will be more knowledgeable with this I am also planning to buy a make up kit! :)

This is actually my second attempt, my first one is a pink-ish make up but I too bad coz I wasn't able to take a picture of it. :) (P.S. I am still learning how to put a freaking liquid eye liner lol -.-)

I call this, "Shades of feeling blue" =))

(Colors I mixed: White and blue eyeshado from Nichido, a black mascara, and for the lips "off beat pink")
"Brown Eyes
(Colors I mixed: White, brown, dark brown, mascara and for the lips its Terracotta from Avon :) )
I know being natural and all is the best beauty that you can flaunt but wearing make up gives me more confidence and a tremendous freedom to be unique. I hope every girl out there is confident and happy with what they have right now, because I am really proud of my self, yes I am big but I love myself.

Have a great day, beautiful! Keep on smiling and share it to everyone! :)
