I woke up too late this day, so I didn't accomplish anything so might as well just post my nail art for this week before November comes.
I don't have any color available since I just borrow my sister's nail polish and I still don't have my own but yesterday, I really had an urge to get my nails done before my friends came over here in our house (check out my last post). I want to try the "news paper nail art" so bad before, but as I've just said I don't have any color available So what I just did was grabbed my sister's colorless nail polish and look what I have done.

Products:
1. Base coat and Top coat
2. Your prefer colored nail polish if you have.
3. 10 pieces of cutout Newspaper
4 Rubbing Alcohol
Procedure:
-1st you have to put your choice of base coat
- Next paint a light nail polish color since I dont have a good color that time I just used a colorless one
-Then You have to wait for it till it's 80% dry (because if its 100% dry there's a tendency that the letterings from the newspaper won't stick to your nails)
- When its 80% dry already, you will need to dip your nails in a small cup of rubbing alcohol for 10 seconds (just use the cup of the rubbing alcohol's bottle)
-Then put or rub your cut newspaper on your nails for 20 seconds
- Lastly, put your best topcoat to secure your art!
It was really hard in the beginning because the newspaper keeps on falling so I watched some technique on YouTube and it helped me a lot! Well for a first timer I think I did a great job, it looks so boring because it doesn't have any color but I liked it because this was the result I had in mind but I might do this again next time if I already have different colors of nail polish to play with. So what do you guys think? Let me know. :)
P.S. My friends who came over didn't appreciate this, because they thought it was just dirt all over my fingers and they thought that I slammed my fingers in the door. Lol, Sorry for my ugly nails and oh by the way I am also planning to have a Halloween nail arts this coming November, any suggestions? :)
Keep on smiling,xx

I think it actually looks pretty cool! I've never tried to do something like that with my nails--does it take a long time to get right?
ReplyDeleteWow I am glad you appreciate it. Well to be honest, I really had a hard time in the beginning but it is actually easy!

It is easy, you hust need to be patient if its your first try ;)I hope it will help you, or you could actually watch some videos or tutorials on Youtube!
