Food & Travel: Isdaan Tarlac Experience! (CAUTION! PHOTO HEAVY POST!)

When I got home last Saturday (January 18 2013) my dad asked me if I want to come with him to Manaoag Church in Pangasinan for the 5am mass on Sunday, I was having second thoughts at first because I was really tired but since I miss my cousins and I don't have other plans last Sunday, I said yes.

We left our house at exact 9:00 PM to pick up my Aunt, my grandma and my cousins. We hit the road at exact 10:00 PM. It's my dad's first time to go to Manaoag church so we had a sort of road trip while they were figuring out which way to go, but thank God we arrived in our destination at the right time.

After the mass we trooped to Isdaan Restaurant at Gerona, Tarlac to have our lunch.

PLACE:
The place is REALLY nice. There are a lot of big pond structures and statues which really fascinated me and made me feel that I was in Thailand because of the buddhas and monkeys all over! The place is really sensational, if you're a photographer this is the perfect place for you to have a photo shoot.

ACTIVITIES:
The place also have some activities for kids and kid at hearts. The kids could rent bikes but for me the place is dangerous for kids to play and roam around unattended so you better follow the restaurant's policy of wearing life vests for kids. They give free fish food to feed the fishes the There's also a wall where you can throw mug, plates and release you anger which they call as Tacsiyapo wall.

FOOD:
(Wasn't able to take some pictures coz' me and my dad went away for awhile to run some errands)
Food is good but not great. My aunt ordered Kare-kareng gulay with bagoong, Marinated Fried Chicken sa Gata, Marinated shrimp with vegetables (forgot the real name of it). The chicken was really tasty and I love the sauce of it, and I also love the shrimp, I love vegetables but I didn't like how they cooked Kare-kareng gulay.

SERVICE:
They don't accept credit cards because they're a cash only establishment, so you better bring a lot of cash before visiting. The service wasn't really good, there weren't too much customers when we were there but the service was quite slow and one of the crew is really rude for calling my dad as my lolo! My aunt even told us that it might be our first and last visit to Isdaan Restaurant.

OVER ALL:
Great ambiance, good food, poor service!

Me and my dad, fooling around. :)

Have you been here? How was your experience? I would love to know so comment down below! :)
Keep on smiling,xx
